The cable can be mounted or placed in a convenient location of your choice! It is a direct link to the radio's amplifier so there is no loss of frequency response and no annoying snap, crackle, and pop you get with FM Modulators. Hear your audio device through all the speakers nice and clean!

To operate the Aux Input, simply plug your device in and the radio will automatically detect the input and change to that source. You can even use the Bass, Treble, Fader, and Balance on your radio! This radio is fully rebuilt including all of the miserable little light bulbs in the face. All features are 100%! Appearance is very good as pictured. The function is perfect.

perfect solution for my older truck

I bought this for my 1996 C2500 Silverado. Every time I look at prices for new or even newer used trucks I cringe. The old AM/FM cassette while functional just wasnt what I needed for driving between upstate New York and central Florida several times per year. A local shop quoted me between $500 & $1000 for an AM/FM CD stereo with aux input (for my satellite radio). The radio from 1factoryradio.com was a perfect solution. Because it was a factory option, installation could not be simpler. The most difficult part was disconnecting the harness from the original unit (I used a flathead screwdriver to pry it off). Literally a five minute install. The radio functions flawlessly and the satellite radio sounds much better now that I dont have to use a cassette adapter. I can actually enjoy the music over the noise of the diesel engine! I highly recommend 1factoryradio, you wont be disappointed.
