This is the newer, "Series 2" version of this radio that does not have the typical display problems. Perfect replacement for your older model with the burnt-out display!

Used in a wide variety of Ford trucks and vans, this radio uses the common spring clip mounts. Part numbers vary widely and there are many completely interchangeable units. This radio has been cleaned, serviced as needed, upgraded with Bluetooth music, and then re-checked. No codes are required, it will plug and play!

The Bluetooth upgrade is simple to operate! Just pair the device, press the Bluetooth button, and play your music or most in-app audio, including iTunes, Rhapsody, Pandora, Spotify, YouTube, Netflix, and many, many more will play in full, crisp, clean quality while taking advantage of all sound controls on the radio. The button will even light up blue when activated! To complete paring, some devices require a pass key or code which is "0000".

Please note that this will not work with phone calls as phone manufacturers have designed calls to work with Bluetooth mic systems only. When you do not want to listen to Bluetooth music, simply unpair or turn off your device's Bluetooth. Forget those shoddy FM transmitters and listen to music the way it's supposed to sound! Please note that this is for the "Premium Sound" version which strangely enough is actually the base model for this radio. It will not work with Mach sound systems common in Explorers and other trucks.

fast, easy, and quality

This is the 2nd purchase from this company. They are very fast getting the product shipped and both of my radios work great. I recommend them to anyone who wants to upgrade to blue tooth but likes the look of a factory radio.

Amazing sound

I don't normally write reviews. I was a bit overwhelmed by this radio. It looks just like the one I pulled from my dash, with the exception of the Bluetooth button, but it's not. After installation, I paired my iPhone to the radio and started Pandora. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. A Ford pickup - where normally the most exciting thing you hear is AM radio over the diesel motor - sounded like a symphony. I'm not sure what the difference is, but the deepness and richness are breathtaking. The Bluetooth pairs instantly when I start the truck now. I am truly amazed.

Blue tooth is a great addition to a great radio

Love Ford factory radios, and the blue tooth makes it all the better. Time will tell if the components used hold up to the original Ford standards.
