I contacted several websites for information on a radio that would fit my existing bezel and wiring harness on my 2001 Ford Ranger. After correcting an e-mail problem 1 Factory Radio was quick to respond to my questions about which radio would work best in my truck. Free shipment was included in the price and the radio was received as promised. 1 Factory Radio guaranteed that this radio would plug and play. Took me about ten minutes to install and everything worked as promised. I was surprised that the replacement radio looked almost new in appearance and worked perfectly. I would highly recommend this group if you are having trouble finding a radio or need specific questions answered prior to selecting a radio.
This unit is the best one for me -- it includes am/fm, cassette and CD. You can switch from one mode to another without having to eject or reinsert anything - the upgraded unit with external mp3 capability may be the one for some folks - I for one don't need it and still enjoy being able to use those old but still functional cassettes.
This unit is my longtime favorite unit as it is an am/fm, cassette/CD and allows you to jump around between modes without discs or cassettes having to be re-inserted. My 2000 Super Duty has one also and this a definite upgrade to the old cassette only unit in a 1999 Ranger. The unit was a long-time coming due to a last minute QC concern at the shipper and a very slow fed-ex (8 days cross-country), but it looks and performs (so far) like new. So -- worth the wait.
