engine noise

installed the new receiver box and everything works fine. I never had problems with engine noise coming through the speakers with the old receiver. its a high pitched sound that varies with the RPM of the truck. What could be the issue?

Awsome!!!!!

I replaced the radio receiver in my 1988 chevy 1500 Silverado with the new one you sent. Worked perfect first time. I now have a 2018 radio system in a 1988 truck because of the ipod aux input. Wanted to keep the radio looking stock and this did the trick. Very Happy!!!!!!
