This receiver box is designed for the trucks that came without a tape deck, and the trucks that came with the tape deck without a built-in equalizer.
(when this box is used with the EQ. Radio it will function but can not operate all eq.Bands. Please check our other auctions for the EQ. Receiver boxes).
These trucks came with a 3 piece stereo system consisting of the Control head (small part in the dash with the display you tune ), Tape deck (center of the dash, some had EQ. some did not), Receiver box (mounted above the accelerator pedal and the most common reason for defective radios in these trucks).
These receiver boxes have all been serviced and come with a 90-day warranty!
If you have a defect, here is your replacement for less! No codes are required. We recommend you inspect the defect you are removing if there is any sign of rust or water contamination you must change your Antenna to prevent the replacement receiver box from being destroyed.
