We had an "accident" in our 2013 Passat which resulted in the radio producing a horrendous din of static out of the speakers until the radio/amp went suddenly dead. We thought we were stuck with taking the car into the dealership and getting soaked for trouble-shooting and replacement when I stumbled across 1 Factory Radio. Luckily they has the exact replacement for this radio unit and we purchased the item. The radio arrived very well packed and secure. Thanks to Youtube tutorials replacing the radio was snap. Some easy to remove trim and 4 Torx screws and the job was done. I input the code that was supplied by 1 Factory Radio and the radio synced with car immediately. We got away with this for under $250.00. I am sure the dealership would have cost more...much more. Thanks 1 Factory. BTW, before I made the purchase of this radio the customer service I received was excellent. All my questions were answered very professionally.
