This is for a professionally remanufactured 2006 Ford Mustang. This radio has been cleaned, serviced as needed, and thoroughly checked. Appearance is good, as pictured. Function is perfect!

This radio is being sold as a REPLACEMENT ONLY! The part number is 6R3T-18C815-HE. If you do not have this exact or compatible part number currently in your vehicle, it will likely NOT WORK. If you are unsure of your part number, give a dealer a call with your VIN and they should be able to provide you with the correct part number. They may look the same and have the same plugs but data streams may be different, not allowing them to code. For example, external amps are used in some cars and will not allow interchange, etc.

The Bluetooth upgrade is simple to operate! Just pair the device, press the Bluetooth button, and play your music or most in-app audio, including iTunes, Rhapsody, Pandora, Spotify, YouTube, Netflix, and many, many more will play in full, crisp, clean quality while taking advantage of all sound controls on the radio. To complete paring, some devices require a pass key or code which is "0000".

Please note: that this will not work with phone calls as phone manufacturers have designed calls to work with Bluetooth mic systems only. When you do not want to listen to Bluetooth music, simply unpair or turn off your device's Bluetooth.

The radio would not lock on station stations using scan, seek or lock on to pre-set for stations. Bluetooth sound quality is equal to AM radio.

Perfect for what I needed

I have a 2006 Mustang convertible, and its Shaker 500 radio developed the dreaded parasitic power drain that was killing the car battery. This radio is a perfect replacement, and a great choice if you want to keep the dashboard's original appearance.

The Bluetooth functionality is a great plus, and works well. Unlike the fancier Crutchfield Bluetooth unit I had attached to the old radio (and which died after three years), this unit does not display song titles on the radio and does not support phone call integration.

Song titles not scrolling by in all uppercase is a minor loss. The missing phone call integration doesn't matter to me, because using it in a convertible was always an exercise in futility.
